Asa, a Fijian missionary serving in High Level, Alberta among the Little Red River Cree Nation, Beaver First Nation, and Mennonite communities, urges the church to “live the Gospel beyond church walls.”
Drawing from Psalm 122:1, Philippians 1:3–6, and Jesus’ words “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35), he asks, “How is your bread?”—a picture of daily, visible faith that feeds neighbors with hope.
Asa shares his testimony (saved in 1999, a kerosene-lamp Bible study that sparked missions worldwide) and his vision to see 100 First Nation men come to Christ in 10 years, calling the church in West Kelowna to grassroots compassion, kindness, and disciple-making (Matt. 28:18–20; Acts 1:8).
He challenges us to embrace the outcast, comfort the broken (2 Cor. 1:3–4), and be a source of hope (Rom. 15:13), praying Ephesians 3:17–19 over the church to be rooted in God’s love and sent to our city.
