Fireside Friday: No Graves in Egypt?

It’s an old wag’s line: denial isn’t just a river in Egypt. But sometimes we deny the Egypt-like influence of the world around us. In the end, this world is nothing but a graveyard. With the Egyptians of old, it all ended in the world’s fanciest graves. But we have been set free from all this. Yet the god of this world doesn’t let us go easily. When the enemy comes in like a flood, never forget the promise: “The Lord shall fight for you.”
