Fireside Friday: Alpine Angel?

More than 100 passages in the Bible introduce us to angels. The Church, as it obeys the Lord, provides object lessons to them (Eph 3:10). Some surround the throne of God, crying out “Holy, holy, holy!” Others speed to do God’s bidding. One angel single-handedly decimated 185,000 Assyrian soldiers (2 Ki 19:35). Yet the Lord said, just before His arrest, that more than 12 legions of angels—about 72,000 of them—were ready to swoop down to His defense if He asked for them (Mt 26:53). But another vital task they perform is helping to look after you, Christian (Heb 1:14). Have you met one lately?
