Fireside Friday: Incorruptible Seed

How long can seeds last? Seeds of the extinct Judean date palm were found at Masada, about 1,900 years old. After laying in a drawer at a university until 2004, using various methods, on March 18, 2005, the date palm “Methuselah” emerged from the soil, bringing the species back from extinction. Remarkable—but not as amazing as gospel seeds! They are “incorruptible” and hold their life-giving power from age to age. This story will encourage everyone who has planted the Word in hearts and still waits to see them burst into life.
