Fireside Friday: Once and Forever

When pursuing conversations in which we want to share the gospel, we shouldn’t start where WE are but where the seeker is. Often we need to be patient as we look for a bridge to span that gap. In this story it took a while until a certain country was mentioned. I had visited there often and had several stories about seekers in that country who found the Lord. Fishing takes patience, and we can miss our opportunity entirely if we act too quickly. “Swift to hear and slow to speak” is frequently a helpful tactic in this regard.
