Fireside Friday: Sufficient for our Needs

Here’s a true story about a man named Erieg who lived in Skagafjörður, Iceland (early 1900s). Just like the disciple Peter, Erieg was a fisherman-turned-fisher of men. But choosing to follow Christ is costly! His testimony began to bother the consciences of those around him, including the other fishermen who manipulated circumstances leaving Erieg without fish. Did the same Lord who knew how to put fish into Peter’s net know how to put fish into Erieg’s as well? Here’s a good reminder that, though it is costly to follow Christ, it is costlier not to follow Him.
