Fireside Friday: The Curious Jew and The Crucified

Paul said God had tried everything to win the Jews–prophets who wept, shouted, wrote, and acted out God’s love. He gave them covenants, priests, judges, His Son, His Spirit, and Word. What more could He do? It seems they were only motivated by jealousy. That’s why they betrayed the Christ! So He would save Gentiles and that would stir the Jews to seek Him too! That’s just what happened in a hotel restaurant in Jerusalem.
