Mini-Message Monday: What the Lord Wants

One of the things about true love is that you seek to discover how the other person wants to be loved. We don’t have to guess with our Lord Jesus. The bread symbolizes how He drew near to us in His body. The blood symbolizes how we draw near to Him, by this “new and living way.” Intimacy is what He wants! We do that in remembering Him, or “calling Him to mind,” and by enjoying His altogether-loveliness with the aid of the Spirit in the Father’s presence. Nothing else like it!
