The Church: Lesson 9 — Unique Roles

Few subjects generate such heat as this one—men/women roles in the church. Although we may disagree on some points of Scripture where this issue is discussed, it is my prayer that these differences will not keep us from thrilling to the Great Love Story of which the woman-man relationship speaks: “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church” (Eph 5:31-32).
