In this message from *Isaiah 1*, Warren Henderson opens a two-part study on the book of Isaiah.
He explains that Isaiah’s ministry spanned the reigns of four kings, but his opening words already set the tone: God’s people had rebelled, their worship had become hollow, and their nation was spiritually sick. Isaiah delivers God’s courtroom charge against Judah—outward religion without inward devotion.
The people brought sacrifices, but their hearts were far from Him. Yet even in the midst of judgment, God extended mercy: “Come now, let us reason together… though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.”
