Wonders of the Rapture

Tim discussed the anticipation of meeting the Lord in the air, as mentioned in 1st Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse 16. He reflected on the humility of Jesus, who came to earth as a man, born in a humble family in Bethlehem and raised in obscurity in Nazareth. Despite being hated by his nation and rejected, Jesus’ life was marked by grace and the ability to bring joy to those who know him. Westbank emphasized the wonder of Jesus’ return, where believers will see him and be like him, forever. He highlighted several aspects of this event, including the descent from heaven, the resurrection of the dead, transformation, rapture, completion, reunion, revelation, assembly, and eternal companionship with Christ. Tim also discussed the power of the Lord’s voice, emphasizing that when he speaks, power is released. He used biblical examples to illustrate this principle, such as the creation of light in Genesis, the healing of the lame man, and the defeat of the lawless one in 2 Thessalonians. He concluded by stating that when the Lord Jesus speaks, energy is exercised, and power is released, leading to the resurrection of the dead and the transformation of the living.
